![]() I can tell you one thing though, I'm not painting them black or any bizarre colour.īut the speakers themselves sound ****ing beautiful (to my ears, anyway). I'd like the grille cloth to contrast the cabinet, but I'd also like to have the cabinet match the cabinet on the stereo I got matched with them. I don't know what the grille cloth and cabinet would actually look like the same colour. Either that, or leaving them natural, because the grille cloth is dark brown, but the wood is light. I was considering staining them the same dark walnut colour as the stereo I got hooked to them. I don't know if the speakers are worth much original or not. Should I keep them original? Because I really like these speakers, but I don't love the scratches on the cabinet, but I'm not sure if I should do this. But anyway, just a question here.Īre these speakers worth a whole lot? Because I got a pair of them, and I was considering sanding down the wood veneer, and re-staining and laquering them, due to a multitude of scratches and a ring my friend left from his beer bottle. I was searching for a thread about realistic MC-1000 speakers, but I can't find jack shit.
